Candela Gentle is a non-invasive laser light treatment for hair removal. Candela Gentle devices emit laser energy that is absorbed by the hair follicle and damages the root without damaging the pores and skin around it. Some hair will disappear with the treatment and the rest should follow in 2 to 3 weeks.. Candela Gentle also is also a safe and effective treatment for vascular lesions, or spider veins. It will improve the appearance and promote healthy cell growth in treated area. There is little to no discomfort during your treatment and you may resume your daily activities immediately. Some patients experience skin redness for a short time after the treatment.
Candela VBeam is a noninvasive laser treatment that’s used to minimize the appearance of vascular lesions, spider veins, and other vascular flaws. This treatment involves the use of a pulsed dye laser, which delivers light to the affected area. This laser is designed to go through the skin and then be absorbed by the cells in the blood vessels. The heat of the laser kills these cells and they are eliminated by the body. Success with the Candela VBeam depends on the type of lesions you have, how long you’ve had them and their color. Dr. Roy or Dr. Nguyen will determine if Candela VBeam is right for you. Candela VBeam may cause swelling or redness in the affected area for a short time.
Lumenis is a type of photofacial treatment for skin rejuvenation. Lumenis can reduce the appearance of fine lines, sun spots, wrinkles and other signs of skin aging. A Lumenis treatment involves the use of intense pulsed light (IPL). This light penetrates the targeted areas, where it causes slight damage to cells. Your body will respond by removing the damaged cells and replacing them with healthy ones. Patients don’t experience any discomfort during treatment as Dr. Roy or Dr. Nguyen uses a cooling gel on the to minimize the heat from the device.
A Co2 Fractional laser is used for deeper lines and wrinkles, acne scars and severe sun damage,. A Co2 fractional laser uses light energy to target water in the tissue. The heat will cause evaporation and damage the cells as well as stimulate the production of healthy skin cells to replace the damaged tissue.
